The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Director Kim Won-Kyung, hereinafter “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Angel6 Plus Co., Ltd. (Representatives: Park Jin-soo, Yoo Jin-nyeong, Lee Woo-jong, Park Jong-seok, Shin Moon-beom, Kim Jong-rip, hereinafter “Angel’s 6 Plus”) on October 16 at Pangyo Startup Campus to discover and nurture promising deep tech and high-potential startups.

Angel’s 6 Plus is a startup consulting firm founded by former executives and professionals from LG Group, including former LG Chem CEO Park Jin-soo, former LG Chem CTO Yoo Jin-nyeong, former LG Electronics President Lee Woo-jong, former LG Innotek President Park Jong-seok, former LG Electronics President Shin Moon-beom, and former GTL CEO Kim Jong-rip.

This agreement aims to contribute to the local economic development through the discovery and nurturing of promising startups in the deep tech and high potential sectors, as well as providing technology and business mentoring for startups, business development and network collaboration, infrastructure support, the appointment of GCCEI advisors by the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and the activation of the local startup ecosystem.

Also, two incubating companies of the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Mocuratec (a company specializing in SoH management systems for lithium batteries and battery performance restoration) and I core (a company developing core machine vision components and deep learning-based industrial smart cameras), participated and introduced their technological capabilities.

Both parties will use this agreement as a starting point to focus on fostering deep tech and high-potential startups through the In-Depth Networking program, where the representatives of Angel 6 Plus will pass on their 40 years of field experience, know-how, and core competencies.

A representative from the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation stated that through this business agreement, they could provide significant support for nurturing deep-tech and high-potential startups with Angel 6 Plus. They also emphasized their commitment to sparing no effort in supporting these startups to grow into global enterprises.
