KT Unveils AI Lingo Phone: A Tailored Solution for Small Business Success

On the 22nd, KT, under the leadership of CEO Kim Young-shop, announced the launch of the ‘AI Lingo Phone’ package, a new intelligent service tailored to the needs of busy small business owners. This package offers an all-encompassing solution, addressing challenges ranging from handling customer inquiries to store promotions and efficient customer management.

The ‘AI Lingo Phone’ package integrates essential features such as ‘Lingo Biz Plus,’ enabling businesses to promote vital information like business hours, location details, and events through a recorded voice when answering phone calls.

Additionally, it includes ‘Lingo Biz Plus,’ a service adept at managing calls during peak times while noting missed calls. The package further incorporates the ‘Artificial Intelligence Call Assistant Lite’ service, enhancing overall communication and operational efficiency for small businesses, as announced by KT.

KT’s ‘AI Lingo Phone’ introduces innovative self-text-to-speech (TTS) technology, enabling small business owners to directly generate personalized voice call connection tones. This feature empowers businesses to tailor their communication to suit their industry and specific needs. To facilitate the initial adoption of the service, KT offers up to three paid products recorded by professional voice actors at no cost when users sign up, enhancing the versatility of the ‘AI Lingo Phone’ for diverse business applications.

When leveraging ‘AI Lingo Phone,’ users can utilize the capabilities of ‘Lingo Biz Plus’ to broadcast essential information like business hours, location details, and upcoming events through recorded voice prompts when handling store phone calls.

Additionally, the service includes ‘AI Call Assistant Lite,’ which manages incoming calls during busy periods and keeps track of missed calls. The package is priced at 14,300 won per month, encompassing 30 minutes of free calls monthly and offering the first month free upon subscription.

KT foresees the ‘AI Lingo Phone’ as a valuable solution for small business owners, anticipating its role in enhancing customer attraction and boosting sales through tailored services. Kim Young-geol, the managing director of KT’s Customer Business Division, emphasized the necessity for swift and accurate guidance in in-store promotion and customer service to ensure the success of small businesses.

He expressed confidence that the ‘AI Lingo Phone’ will assist busy small business owners, further contributing to their prosperity. Kim affirmed KT’s commitment to supporting small businesses by continually introducing essential products to meet their specific needs.
