LG Energy Solution recently held its Battery Tech Conference (BTC) in Seoul to attract top talent in the battery industry. The event, which took place at LG Science Park on Friday, featured a select group of 30 job seekers with advanced degrees, including master’s and doctorate holders.

During the conference, LG Energy Solution’s top executives emphasized their goal of nurturing new hires and helping them reach their full potential within the organization. By hosting such recruitment events, the company aims to identify and cultivate future leaders in the battery sector.

At the Battery Tech Conference (BTC) held in Seoul on Friday, LG Energy Solution’s top executives, including CEO Kim Dong-myung and CTO Kim Je-young, expressed the company’s plans to support top-tier talent.

The event, which is part of LG’s annual recruitment efforts, focused on engaging master’s and doctoral graduates from Korea’s leading universities to join the company’s ranks. This follows a similar event in New York in May, where CEO Kim sought to recruit talent from top U.S. universities like MIT and Cornell.

CEO Kim Dong-myung supported LG Energy Solution’s vision of becoming a global leader in the battery industry, calling on participants to be part of “creating a new history.” He pledged full support to help employees reach their highest potential, positioning LG Energy Solution as a company where individuals can realize their career aspirations.

Kim’s active participation in both the Seoul and New York conferences highlights the company’s determination to secure top talent for the future.

The conference also featured insights from senior engineers, offering participants a detailed look at the company’s growth strategy and technological advancements. LG Energy Solution presented its plans to solidify its position as a world-leading battery manufacturer by focusing on research and development. The event included a special networking session, allowing attendees to engage with industry experts and gain deeper insights into the company’s innovative projects.

Participants expressed positive feedback, with one attendee stating that they gained a clearer understanding of LG Energy Solution’s technological prowess and long-term potential. The company’s distinguished portfolio and growth opportunities were seen as key factors in attracting the next generation of leaders in the battery sector.

An official from LG Energy Solution stated that the company remains committed to actively recruiting top talent in the battery industry. The company has already seen several participants from previous BTC events join its workforce.

“We will continue to diversify our efforts to hire the best in the industry,” the official said, reinforcing LG Energy Solution’s goal of building a team capable of leading the future of battery technology. The company plans to maintain its focus on attracting highly skilled professionals to strengthen its position in the competitive global market.
