Naver Cloud, Naver Corporation’s cloud service-providing subsidiary, revealed it would utilize its various platforms to deliver eLearning solutions for EduPure. Established by EValueMark, EduPure is an online professional education portal that offers lectures, programs, and certifications regarding IT, business management, foreign languages, and other industry studies. Due to the pandemic, the online learning demand has significantly increased to provide education platforms with enhanced safety and efficiency.

Aside from providing eLearning services to the general public, EduPure also caters to corporate customers. To address its learners’ needs, the online education operator plans to provide a more stable lecture environment for smoother learning. Since system overloads occur from time to time, EduPure would solve disconnection issues and improve its existing servers by applying Naver Cloud’s platform capabilities.

Utilizing Cloud-Based Technologies for Improved System Performance

“The market’s interest in introducing cloud-based services with advantages such as reduced system operation cost, flexible scalability, and fast service is increasing,” said Lim Tae-Geon, Naver Cloud’s Sales Director. “We will try to ensure that many educational institutions and students continue their studies regardless of the environment.” As Naver Cloud stated, it strives to optimize cloud-based eLearning services and their advantages, especially during the ongoing non-face-to-face era.

Naver Cloud would apply its cloud-based technologies to EduPure’s servers under the partnership, enabling seamless system performance. Particularly, Naver Cloud would utilize network-attached storage (NAS) networks to give users service continuity even when system failures occur. In addition to NAS solutions, the cloud tech provider would also use object storage architectures. These technologies enable users to store and retrieve data using various devices safely. Additionally, Naver Cloud’s platform supports a simple user interface, allowing students and administrators to quickly access multiple services and information.

Even with increased traffic due to simultaneous online lectures, users could still experience trouble-free connectivity thanks to Naver Cloud’s solutions. To this end, the Naver subsidiary employed content delivery network technologies, which deliver high-quality media content and support high-speed downloading. Besides supplying EduPure with seamless network connections, the Naver Cloud platform also provides a 24-hour service operation for immediate assistance. Moreover, Naver Cloud’s solutions reduce server failures, allowing EduPure to dodge unnecessary maintenance costs and minimize extra manpower operations.
