MAVE is a K-Pop virtual girl band.

The virtual K-Pop idol group ‘Mave,’ produced by Metaverse Entertainment, a subsidiary of Netmarble F&C, is quickly gaining recognition both domestically and internationally after just one day of debut. The number of views of music videos exceeded 1 million views in one day, and it also entered the top 5 on Melon’s latest song chart. The K-Pop girl band will also debut on terrestrial music broadcasts on January 28th.

‘Mave’ is a K-Pop idol group consisting of four virtual humans: Siwoo, Jenna, Tyra, and Marty. They made their official debut through the song ‘Pandora’ and the album ‘Pandora’s Box,’ released on January 25th.

Mave is rapidly increasing its popularity within the first day of its debut. The ‘Pandora’ music video exceeded 1 million views on day one and is currently recording 1.44 million views. More than 6,000 comments were registered on the video. Most of the overseas users leave comments saying they are surprised by the quality of Mave, which is composed of virtual humans.

On top of that, ‘Pandora’ entered Melon’s newest song chart as the 5th most popular song. The members’ dance challenge video posted on Mave’s Instagram exceeded 2 million views in less than a day.

Mave is a group created by combining Metaverse Entertainment’s parent company Netmarble F&C’s artificial intelligence ( AI ) and virtual human production technology with Kakao Entertainment’s music artist planning and production capabilities.

The album Pandoras Box’ contains ‘Pandora’ and ‘Wonderland.’ The title song ‘Pandora’ is an intense trap-style dance song. It tells the story of opening Pandora’s box in a future world that has lost its emotions and regaining hope. ‘Wonderland’ describes the horrors of ‘Edipia,’ the future world they came from, according to member Siu’s point of view.

For this album, composers Max Song and Kyler Nico, who created hit songs for Seventeen, Red Velvet, and Monsta X, participated. The music video was directed by Production Flip Evil, who worked on IU’s ‘Lilac,’ EXO Kai’s ‘Um,’ and Espa’s ‘Dreams Come True.’
