Yanolja Cloud, a South Korean travel technology provider, formed a strategic collaboration with VNTravel, the leading travel company in Vietnam. The two companies’ partnership also aims to facilitate the travel and leisure industry’s digitalization.

Transforming the Global Travel Industry

This July, Yanolja, one of South Korea’s top travel agencies, launched Yanolja Cloud, reinforcing its worldwide cloud solution market leadership. Yanolja Cloud consists of Yanolja’s various cloud solution business affiliates, including EZee Technosys, Sanha Information Technology, Trustay, and ZEN Rooms.

Besides digitizing the global travel and hospitality industry, the newly founded Yanolja unit would expand its platform to more areas. Some of these business areas include dining, residential, and other lifestyle-related operations.

Yanolja Cloud also offers integrated hospitality solution packages, digitalizing hotel and guest interactions using artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. Since its launch, Yanolja Cloud had been planning to roll out Y FLUX. Y FLUX is a technology that seamlessly connects hotel operating systems using cloud computing.

Similarly, Yanolja Cloud’s parent company recently raised 2 trillion won from Japan’s SoftBank Vision Fund 2. Yanolja also plans to use the earnings to establish a global travel platform equipped with AI, blockchain, and IoT technologies.

On the other hand, VNTravel, a VNLife affiliate, currently holds the top spot in the Vietnamese travel market. Aside from supporting more than five million users, VNTravel offers over 50,000 tour deals for around 1.5 million accommodation sites.

Advancing Vietnam’s Hospitality Sector Digitalization

Furthermore, Yanloja Cloud and VNTravel plan to digitally transform the Vietnamese travel and hospitality sector by combining their capabilities. In particular, the two companies would use Yanolja Cloud’s state-of-the-art technologies and VNTravel’s sales expertise and comprehensive local networks.

Yanolja Cloud would also apply its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to hotels in Vietnam, providing an environment with real-time data connectivity. As a result, the company’s SaaS solutions would outstandingly improve customer experience and the sites’ operational efficiency.

Meanwhile, VNTravel would conduct marketing campaigns by utilizing its in-depth local market understanding. VNTravel would also strengthen operations with its VNPay, one of Vietnam’s top electronic payment services.

Binh Giang TRAN, CEO of VNTravel, shared that VNTravel looks forward to its collaboration with Yanolja, the world’s top cloud-based solution company and a digital transformation innovator in the hospitality sector.

According to the VNTravel CEO, the merging of Yanolja’s technical proficiency and VNTravel’s experience would also introduce the finest travel solutions to the Vietnamese market.

“We are delighted to partner with VNTravel,” said Andrew Kim, Head of Yanolja Cloud’s Global Hotel Solutions. “The partnership will accelerate the deployment of our cloud-based solution to local hotels in Vietnam.”

In addition to enhancing guest experiences and overall operational efficiency, Kim stated that the collaboration would enable Yanolja Cloud to forefront the entire Vietnamese hospitality industry digitalization.

Moreover, Yanolja vowed to continue leading the digital transformation of the global leisure sector. To this end, the travel tech company would utilize its extensive technological innovation portfolio.
