Korea Venture Business Association to recruit startup participants until April 20
PSWC mentoring

Seoul Venture Incubator (SVI) at the Startup Training Center of the Venture Business Association announced on April 14th that it will openly recruit participants for “Pre-Startup Winning Camp,” an accelerator program for early startups, until April 20th.

PSWC is an accelerator program that supports the all-out process to accelerate the growth of early startups. Since 2012, 70% of the selected startup teams of some 300 teams have achieved results in running their own businesses.

PSWC will comprise programs that focus on key elements needed by businesses such as ▲Team Mentoring ▲ Advanced Business Models ▲Integrating IR Capacity, ▲Investing investment in connection with ship startups and others.

According to the Venture Business Association, team mentoring shall deviate from the existing fragmentary one-on-one mentoring method. Three professional mentors with extensive market experience will become a team and provide in-depth mentoring based on each area, and support the growth of startups through a wide network.

In 2018, over 80 percent of the companies participating in the team mentoring showed tangible business results such as successful investment attraction, increased sales and business tie-ups.

Starting in 2019, SVI plans to form its own individual association to make seed investments in excellent companies among teams participating in the program. The systemized SVI incubation program will also be linked to support early startups to grow into star ventures.

PSWC members can apply to any startup company that has entrepreneurship and dreams of the future through startups within three years. Detailed information on major curricula and applications for participation can be found on the website of the Venture Business Association.
