Samsung may launch Galaxy S22 Ultra on Feb 8

The South Korean market is likely to see the Samsung flagship smartphone Galaxy S22 Ultra by Feb next year. Although the tech giant hasn’t made an official announcement, industry insiders suggest the company will make the launch announcement on Feb 8, 2022.

According to Tipster Ice Universe, Samsung is expected to announce the launch of the other Galaxy S22 models in the series.

The new series is said to be the brightest model that the company has developed. At present, the Galaxy S21 is the brightest phone under the company’s flagship, peaking at 1500 units.

According to an insider, the production of the Galaxy S21 will begin in January. The upcoming advanced smartphones in the market are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset.

Since there’s already a competition for the phone launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, the next two months may bring fire to the Korean smartphone market. Presently, Xiaomi 12, Motorola Edge X30, and Realme GT2 pro are at the top of the list of upcoming smartphones. Samsung will be joining them in Feb 2022.

The camera of the new Galaxy series will be another highlight of the model featuring a 10 Mp telephoto sensor. It will additionally have 3x optical zoom capabilities. The previous Galaxy series of S21 models had hybrid zoom capabilities, which were comparatively less advanced.

In other key features, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will have a 108 MP sensor model, which is a Samsung HM3 sensor. It has an aperture of f/1,8 and 1/1.33 inch ultra-large bottom. Besides, pixel functionalities will be supporting the optical image stabilization in the camera.

Other smartphones in the market with similar features and chip functionalities are getting launched in the first month of 2022. With that, industry insiders are afraid that Samsung is a little late to launch the Galaxy S22 series in the market

Apart from the Galaxy S22 series, there are also talks of the Galaxy A52 to be launched in the coming months. The officials have said that the new phone will have new high-end features that Galaxy A51 and A50 did not have. Next year may also have the Galaxy A53, which will be the most advanced model in the series.
