Along with the COVID-19 pandemic comes a “new normal” of working and staying at home. People are spending more time indoors than usual. However, reports suggest that fitness is still one of their priorities to keep a strong physical and mental health.

Samsung Health

To support this new lifestyle, Samsung Electronics introduced three leading fitness brands through its Samsung Health app available in the 2020 Samsung Smart TV platform. The South Korean tech giant hopes to empower consumers, ensuring their safety and health.

Samsung’s 2020 QLED 8K TV line-up offers a fully immersive picture quality allowing Samsung Health users to enjoy at-home wellness content.

Fitplan

Through their Samsung Smart TVs, users could access 50 free various classes headed by five professional trainers and six free workout plans. Using the Fitplan app, consumers could keep track and upload photos of their progress through the “form check,” set weekly goals, and plan workouts with other people.

The mobile app Fitplan collaborates with world-class fitness trainers allowing them to empower users by sharing their tried and tested workout plans. The Fitplan app also enables users to embrace a fitter and healthier lifestyle.

Calm

Samsung Smart TV users would receive free access to Calm’s extensive library of meditation, sleep, and mindfulness content that ensure mental fitness.

The app provides a wide array of mindfulness programs, sleep stories, and music tracks that offer a range of difficulty levels and duration.

Calm also has content available for children on Samsung’s smart TVs. Calm Kids allow families to participate in mindfulness programs and meditations featuring Thomas & Friends, and Disney classics such as Cinderella, Aladdin, Mulan, and Sleeping Beauty.

Jillian Michaels

A well-known American fitness and personal health expert, Jillian Michaels offers Samsung’s Smart TV users to access interactive daily workouts.

Samsung Smart TV users could access a 28-day, directed workout program, with a range from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels. Meanwhile, for users with limited time, the Jillian Michaels Fitness app offers seven-minute workout routines perfect for adding movement in their daily lives.
