WiseApp says “Paris Baguette & Paris Croissant” gets highest Card Payment of 158.7 billion won in March

The app and retail analysis company WiseApp announced on April 16th that the bakery and bakery brands with the largest amount paid by Koreans with credit and check cards in March were “Paris Baguette and Paris Croissant.” 

According to WiseApp’s analysis of data on credit card and check card payments by Koreans, bakery and bakery brands with the largest amount paid with credit cards in March are Paris Baguette and Paris Croissant, with 158.7 billion won (about US$136 million) in payment.

Second place was McDonald’s with 59.7 billion won (about US$51.1 million), third place was Tous Les Jours with 49 billion won (about US$49 million), fourth place was Lotteria with 45.7 billion won (about US$ 42 million), fifth place was Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts with 42 billion won (about US$36 million) and sixth place was Burger King with 33.4 billion won (about US$28.6 million). 

The Paris Baguette and Paris Croissant found that 9.2 million people paid an average of 9,931 won (about US$8.5) per month for 1.7 times a month. The monthly purchase amount was 17,251 won (about US$15), the survey showed. Thursday was the day of the week when payments were the highest. 

According to WiseApp, total amount of credit card payments for Paris Baguette and Paris Croissant will amount to 1.7553 trillion won (about US$1.5 billion) in 2018.
